Mzbel Blames Her “Dead” Career On NDC’s 2016 Election Defeat

Politics has really caused more woes than anything good in the career of Mzbel if what she is telling us is true – for some of us, we think her music career is dead, better still, she has faded out as newbies in the industry have taken over.

Mzbel has blamed her dead career on the defeat the National Democratic Congress (NDC) suffered in the 2016 elections.

She has confessed that the defeat has really affected her already dead career in an interview on Kessben FM — a radio station based in Kumasi.

She said;

“Before the removal of NDC from power, I used to play a lot of cooperative organisational gigs. There were some banks, hotels, etc, I used to play gigs for them on yearly basis.

Sadly, after the change of government, those in the various positions who used to give me the deals have all been removed and some transferred to different places. This has really affected my music career”.
