LMC Sanctions Giwa FC, 2 Players


Giwa FCThe League Management Company (LMC) has sanctioned Nigerian football league club, Giwa FC, and two of their players, for their actions in an abandoned week 38 game of the League in Lafia against Nasarawa United.

The Jos side refused to continue with the game in 34th minute, forcing referee, Ibrahim Ishaku, to call off the match at the expiration of the first half.

Giwa FC were fined three million Naira, a deduction of three points and forfeiture of three points to Nasarawa United for the abandoned week 38 match.

Giwa FC players, Amos Gyang and Nojeem Raji, were also fined and suspended for two matches and six matches respectively.
