Reports from Germany have it that Chelsea have contacted former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel to succeed Antonio Conte who has fallen out with the board following disagreements over summer recruitments.
Conte is frustrated with the board’s inability to get his summer targets as he continues to manage a very thin squad.
Chelsea have just made two signings this summer, Antonio Rüdiger from Roma and Tiémoué Bakayoko from Monaco.
Pursuits of the likes Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sandro have failed so far and Conte is reportedly ready to quit.
According to Bild, Chelsea have quickly contacted Tuchel to succeed Conte.
Tuchel, 43 was coach of Borussia Dortmund for just a year before he was sacked after a fall out with the board.
