The Nigerian superstar was the biggest winner of the night, rounding off the event with the biggest win as the Artist of the Year. He also came out tops as the Best West African Act (Male), and also had his smash hit record ‘Come closer’ take home the Song Of The Year award.
This comes in a week when 'Come closer' earned a Silver certification in the UK.

The single peaked at number 58 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Wizkid's first charting single as a lead artist. The single also peaked at number 54 on the Canadian Hot 100.
The song was recorded in early 2016 at the same time as Wizkid and Drake's other collaborative single, “One Dance” (2016), which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 as well as the UK Singles Chart and the Canadian Hot 100.
Wizkid recently headlined the 2017 Felabration in Lagos, Nigeria, where he gave a stunning performance.
