Two venues in the northern German city of Hannover have been evacuated tonight after police identified ‘concrete’ evidence of a bomb threat.

The friendly match between Germany and the Netherlands at the HDI-Arena was called off amidst rumours of an ambulance packed with explosives outside the stadium which later turned out to be false.
